4
Seasons
pothole filler can be used for cracks ranging
from ½” on up.
Estimate material needed and assess the situation
for proper fill of area.
Remove sand and debris from repair area.
Clean visible grease and oil from surface.
If the crack is narrow you will need to reduce
the amount of aggregate that you add to the
liquid in order to achieve a product thin
enough to pour and penetrate deep into the
crack.
In this situation, mixing 4 Seasons in a smaller
container like a 5 quart pail will work just
fine. Start by pouring 2” of liquid
into pail.
Mix in slowly, a small amount of aggregate
to achieve a pour able consistency. Pour into
crack and level off, ensuring that good contact
between the edge of the crack and the 4
Seasons
product has been made.
Any remaining liquid and aggregate must be
used in like manner.
Product initially comes proportioned for
successful pothole filling.
Using partial amounts, as in dealing with
larger cracks, causes the ratios to be unbalanced.
It will not be successful for pothole filling.
